We’ve heard your concerns about the new start and end times for our elementary schools, and we want to clarify a few important points.

Why the Changes?

• Parent Requests: For many years, parents have asked for consistent start times and end times for all of the elementary schools, so we have accommodated that.
• Coordination: We wanted to synchronize the start and end times for all our elementary schools, making it easier for parents with kids in different grade levels.
• Tutoring Time: The later end times allow for tutoring and enrichment for all elementary students. This means no more late bus rides home for the elementary students

The school board implemented these changes to better serve our students and families. We appreciate your understanding and support as we transition to the new schedule.
