Celebrate the Difference Makers of AJUSD

Every day, Apache Junction Unified School District employees make a lasting difference in the lives of students, families, colleagues, and our community. Whether it’s a teacher who inspires, a bus driver who brightens every morning, a custodian who goes the extra mile, or an office professional who always finds a way to help, these acts deserve to be recognized.

The Golden Ticket Award Program gives students, parents, staff, and community members the opportunity to recognize AJUSD employees who consistently demonstrate exceptional service, kindness, dedication, and commitment to our district.

Any AJUSD employee may be nominated, including:

  • Teachers
  • Support staff
  • Bus drivers
  • Custodians
  • Food service staff
  • Front office staff
  • Administrators
  • Maintenance personnel
  • Any other district employee making a positive impact

We welcome nominations from:

  • Students
  • Parents and guardians
  • Staff members
  • Community members

Golden Ticket recipients are individuals who:

  • Go above and beyond expectations
  • Make students feel seen, valued, and supported
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service
  • Show kindness, integrity, and professionalism
  • Create a positive impact on our schools and district
  • Embody the values of AJUSD

Monthly Recognition

Each month, nominations will be reviewed, and selected employees will receive the Golden Ticket Award in recognition of their outstanding service and dedication.

Their stories may also be featured on AJUSD’s website and social media to celebrate the incredible people who make our district special.
